A Taste of Home in Ha Giang
𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙏𝘼𝙇𝙊?
TALO started with a simple idea: to bring a fresh perspective on food to Ha Giang. Ha Giang is full of unique ingredients and flavors shaped by its mountains, culture, and local traditions. We wanted to take those familiar things and explore different ways of preparing and combining them.
It’s not just about bringing outside dishes or techniques to Ha Giang. It’s about looking at what we already have here and asking ourselves what else we can do with it.
Sourdough came from that idea too. For Ha Giang, sourdough is still relatively new. We make our sourdough by hand and use it as a base for familiar dishes in a different way — from Croques and Tartines to combinations with local ingredients.
We love the idea of bringing something new together with flavors people already know, creating something that feels both unexpected and familiar. TALO isn’t about making everything complicated. We simply want to experiment, create, and find new ways for familiar ingredients to make their way onto the table.
